The Flanders have moved in across the street

So, we're playing with our neighbors and all their kids. I overhear Luke trying to lead the kids in a game . . . "Ok, I made a cross. Who wants to die on the cross? Who wants to die on the cross next? Guys! I made a cross, who wants to die?" The kids just stood looking at him, half scared of the kid who wants them to die.

Isn't that the way we are when Christ wants us to lay things down, to take up the cross DAILY? Paul said "I am CRUCIFIED with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but He who lives in me."
