Down Time
Down time? Is this you? Do I have a few minutes with NOTHING to do except read blogs and possibly even post on my own? YES!!!
And the reason is I am at my parents house. All 3 of the kids are napping, and since I am not home I don't have to unpack, do laundry, unpack, fix dinner, unpack, or clean. (Did i mention unpack?)
So we have moved to Springfield and I really like our new home. John spent the weekend painting the boys' room, while we were out of his way. We came up to Peoria to see VeggieTales live. The boys really had a great time watching the giant veggies sing and dance. It's funny how things that you may have thought were "cheesy" suddenly become magnificent when you look at the face of your child and catch a glimpse of how they see things. I remember experiencing this when Luke was around a year old and would go crazy for Barney. I thought Barney was annoying but then I saw someone I love, love something, and my opinion changed.
In other news Mikayla is growing and is such a wonderful baby. She is so happy and doesn't demand an excessive amount of my attention. She sleeps at night and I know this has helped make this whole transition so much better!!!
I hope to post some pictures soon. And when I get home I think we will have internet and maybe I will be able to post more often. But, I wouldn't count on it so check out John's blog first.

I've been thinking about you getting settled in and everything. Yeah for down time! I'm actually at my parents (in Canada) this week too. It kind of came up spur of the moment that I could come up with my sister with the kids so we are having fun! We miss you guys so much! I was thinking it the other day and then Dave out of the blue said, "I really miss the Wentz's at church. It's not like we were really close to them but it's just weird not to have them there." We miss your enthusiasm!:) Hope things are going well for you! Take care!
