It's a . . . .

Girl :)
We had our sonogram today and the baby is healthy and looks great! And I am thrilled to welcome another female into my family. I can't wait to start shopping for girl things!

We returned from our vacation late Monday night. We had a wonderful time! The highlight was our camping trip. We went about 20 miles outside of Albany to a site called Thompson's Lake. The weather was beautiful and it was the perfect way for the boys to get out some energy. Unfortunately, Jonathan and Ashley's downstairs neighbors didn't appreciate the sound of little feet scampering across the apartment, so they had to tiptoe around. Getting outside was just what they needed for a few days. We did take notes on a few things that we wished we would have brought along or thought of before we went so that next time we're even more prepared.

Another highlight was on the way home, Luke was eating a banana, and about halfway through he fell asleep. I turned around and saw his forehead resting on the banana he was holding in his hand. When he woke up he thought his eyebrow had fallen off because it was smeared with dried banana goo and he couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. We explained to him what had happened and stopped to wash him up. Now every time he eats a banana he exclaims, "Banana's aren't for sleeping on!"

We'll hopefully post some pictures soon. until then . . .

I always wanted a daughter, then my son married a wonderful girl (now a woman) and I got you. When you and John had two boys I thought I would never have a granddaughter. What a wonderful gift. Thank you. I love you and I have already shopped for a little girl. Love you! Mom/Sandy

Aunt Nancy sticks her head in the blog site and looks around...
