Singing a Silly Song

It's definately time for a new post. I don't know about you, but even I am sick of opening my blog and reading about a craving for onion petals. As a matter of fact, I don't think I ever want to eat an onion petal again. And I apologize if I have turned anyone else off from onion petals as well. Now, that's all I'm ever going to say about onion petals on my blog, ever . . .

As far as what else we've been up to . . . most recently we took a trip to Crown Point, Indiana to visit John's dad at the fair. And let me tell you, this is the ONLY way to go to the fair. It's like the behind the scenes tour of fair life. The best part was everything was free. Since John and his family have been working at this particular fair since John was like 5, they know almost everyone there. So when you walk up to order cotton candy, the people at the stand won't take your money. We all got VIP bracelets, that allowed up to ride anything, for free. Luke loved all the kiddie rides. On the other hand, Logan didn't have such a great time. The first ride we put them on was a pretty dumpy carnival ride. You sat in cars that went in an oval and then jerked you around the corners. Unfortunately, Logan hit his head against the side and got a good bump and small cut on the corner of his eye. I think that tainted Logan's view of all rides because from then on, any ride he went on that John or I couldn't ride with him, put him in tears. You'll see some examples in the pictures below.
