UCC
This Article
was written in response to a picture I noticed, when I was visiting my parent's in Mid-March. I glanced at the cover of the "Christian Standard" on their end table and thought, "That looks like my church". Convinced that it wasn't my church, I didn't think much of it, until I opened it and found another smaller picture with the caption "University Christian Church". I guess, since the "Christian Standard" is headquarted in Cincinnati, they snuck by and took a picture. I found this to be ironic, for several reasons, but the main reason was that the title above the cover picture was "What kind of church is this?" So I e-mailed them an answer, that I'm sure they never anticipated, "A burnt one!" The article above is a response Troy wrote in response to this ironic cover.
By the way, the cafe is set to reopen this Monday, April 4th (grand reopening Friday) I hope that some time everyone who reads this has a chance to come share a cup of coffee with us.
