it is well
fortunately, everyone around my house is well for the moment. Logan has been doing great and we hope that proves to be the result of taking him off of wheat. I had a short bout with the flu, on Valentines. I've been disinfecting the house on a regular basis in hopes to rid us of any lingering germs. I guess it's worked so far because no one else has gotten sick.
There are so many things going on right now that it's hard to know how to begin an update. One thing that we've been working on ;) (sorry jonathan) will hopefully include us expecting another addition to our family. No news yet, but we know we want our third and believe it or not, Luke will be 4 in October and Logan is almost 2! Juliet, that means we may need you back in town next November or so!
In other news, I got a hotel room for $25 a night on priceline today. I'll be at the Children's Ministry conference at Willow Creek in March and needed an affordable room. My first round with priceline, I asked for a $30 room, they suggested I retry at $8 higher. But, I didn't want to pay $38 , so I retried at $25, and I got it! Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows, not bad . . . But wait, it gets even better. Although it was a great deal, I still can't afford the $63.24 (2 nights plus tax), that I just spent. So, I called my brother and asked if any females from his church were coming. He said yes. I asked if they had a hotel yet. He said no. So I told him if his church paid for the room, they could stay with me. The check should be in the mail soon. Thank you Christ's Church of the Capital District.

I'm so jealous you're going to the Promiseland conference! I've been 2 times before and I've really enjoyed it. And the Festival theme looks cool! I LOVE their main sessions, but the workshops didn't impress me. They were ok. I went to the CPC this year, and next year I want to go to the "Grow Up" conference at Northpoint. Anyways, have a great trip! And if you have time, eat at Bahama Breeze in Schamburg (next to Barnes and Noble). I recommend the Bahamian shrimp kabobs.

shannon...next time, you're staying with me!! it's about a 45 minute drive, so that might be too far...but i'd love to have you!!! seriously.

the funny thing is I was talking about you the other day and realizing how "old" the kids were getting and I thought to myself..."they should have another one sometime soon"...wierd.
If I can get there I wouldn't miss it!
