"Cincinnati's 135-year-old ice cream maker is dropping three flavors"

That is the news headline that caught my ear . . . . Talk about a near panic attack! Graeter's Ice Cream is making some major changes, what's going on? What three flavors are they dropping? But, there is good news (in my opinion) . . .

"Gone are black walnut, coffee and amaretto crunch." I can deal with that

"Peppermint stick has been dropped as a year-round flavor but will be sold seasonally." slightly disappointing, but easy to deal with, since I would most likely eat it seasonally anyway.

And the good news is they are also introducing 4 new flavors!!!

"The new year-round flavors are cookies and cream, cookie dough chip, coconut chip and Buckeye Blitz (peanut-butter cookie dough in chocolate ice cream)."

There is also a new seasonal calendar of flavors . . .

° January-March: Mint Cookies and Cream, Rocky Road
° February-April: Cherry Chip
° April-June: Chocolate Brownie, Tangerine Cream
° May-July: Mango Sherbet, Strawberry Chip
° July-August: Peach
° July-September: Watermelon Sorbet
° July-October: Chocolate Coconut Almond Fudge
° September-November: Apple Cider Sorbet
° October-November: Pumpkin Spice
° November-December: Cinnamon Stick, Peppermint Stick
° December: Egg Nog

Oh, mint cookies and cream, i need to go eat you! Mom, if you were on the fence about coming this weekend I must say this should push you on over to our side. It's time for a Greater's Break!!!
