Singing a Silly Song

Earlier this summer, JOhn and I switched vehicles with my parents. This weekend my mom is coming to visit and we will also swap our cars back. Luke must have overheard us talking about this because he just ran into the room and said, "Grandma and Grandpa will be bringing our car back!" And as you could see the wheels turning in his mind, he reached his arms up over his head and exclaimed, "Maybe they will carry it to my house, Grandma and Grandpa are very strong!" I thought it was so funny that he was imagining my parents carrying our car to us! I laughed and then corrected him by explaining that Grandma and Grandpa would not be carrying the car. His response was, "I know, they will get a rope. Maybe they will get a rope and pull the car to my house!" Do you think he'll be disappointed when he sees them simply driving the car just like everyone else?
